Former Employee - CSA - Customer Service Associate says"Standing all day, poorly managed branches, horrible local and regional management, customer who have no idea of what they are doing, learning Mincron, being thrown in the deep end of the pool with little or no help, resolving customers problems because they are not qualified to provide transparency and competency in field, nepotism, regionalism, are you from Delaware County, Pennsylvania, and a white male, you may succeeded."
Current Employee - Procurement says"Management does not care to have employees who work hard, loyal and dedicate themselves to do the absolute best job. Instead if you are friends with the managers you will promote. If you have ideas, they don't want to hear them. If you try to implement team work, they don't value that. Director is inexperienced in management, most managers and directors have never worked in the systems they manage for, never have been a buyer there and depend on feedback from their friends who are again only promoted due to friendships not work ethics or knowledge of procedures. It's a mess, HR is aware but all you hear is "we are investigating them""
Current Employee - Anonymous Employee says"1. Although this is a very profitable company, the employees are not compensated well 2. Sub par health benefits - high premium 3. No real engineering of any sort. It is all about copy, paste. Hope Daikin from Japan will make it worthwhile for engineering"

Current Employee - Engineer says"Executive management is self centered, abusive and unqualified. Safety is terrible we have had two deaths and two dismemberment's and management doesn't want to address the issue they act like it never happened. We had a TB outbreak and management refused to acknowledge the issue or take precautions to inform or protect us. They are in constant 11th hour firefighting mode and take no measures to fix it, Communication is very bad, and changes are made to look one dept look good at the expense of the other. 401K is a complete joke"
Current Employee - Engineer says"Benefits are the bare minimal. No career path or growth. Lots of finger pointing and people don't do their job. Lots of dinosaurs just warming up a chair. Lots of effort to design processes that no one follows, they only care about the production number. Managers don't know what they are doing."

Administrative Assistant (Former Employee) says"A typical day at work was hard. If management did not like you they made it hard for you to do your job. The workplace culture was mixed. The different culture of people that worked there made it hard to communicate. The most enjoyable part of my job was the convenience from my home. Close to homeNo advancement"

Recruiter (Former Employee) says"The employees at Goodman HQ in the Galleria are the most racist, bias and discriminating individuals I have ever witnessed. Beware of the leadership of the VP of HR and the VP of Talent Acquisition. Neither could recruit or source a street sweeper. Nor can the director of Recruiting. They honestly have no clue. The bias and discriminating nature of these individuals and this company which is allowed by the VP's, and Director of Recruiting is an absolute joke. I am a caucasian male who has seen the ridiculous way they are allowing the Recruiters who handle Forklift Drivers and Temp employees to be bias, dishonest and discriminating. The lease coordinators at Goodman HQ are horrific human beings. They allow and support these clowns for doing so. If you are Black, Asian, Older than 45 or an out of town transplant, avoid these people. I can assure you it will take everything you have got not to pursue a reckoning."

MODERN DAY SLAVE (Former Employee) says"This place is racist and they only take care of the employees that have been there for 20 or 30 yrs. It's no way of advancing with Goodman. The supervisors allow things to go on that shouldn't be allowed. Safety out there is a joke.Getting offEverything"
Credit Analyst II (Former Employee) says"Management based on favoritism and not intellectual skills. I worked in the Credit/Collections department. When the manager sees that you are doing really great, they will try anything to demean you and make you feel worthless. I worked there for 4 years and never got a raise. When I asked for a raise, I was called in by the Vice president. He was very unprofessional and repeatedly told I quote "remember where you come from", which I found very racist. The managers pick and chooses on who they deal with. Problematic and very unprofessional people are in higher positions. I enjoyed my job but the people lacking professionalism are put in certain positions, which make it difficult to enjoy the job and advance. Stay away from this company and go invest your time where you will be mostly valued for your skills and knowledge. When I left the company, almost every good person in my team was looking for another job somewhere else."
Warehouse Associate (Former Employee) says"no job security very cliquey would not reccomend one guy sleeps in the lunch room and farts for an hour another guy cant work a whole day another guy is a hazard to everyone around him thought it was a great place, then was let go due to lack of work, when i was the only one busy ALL day good luck, you guys will need itjobeverything else"
Temp worker (Former Employee) says"First off the place was unimaginably hot, we were expected to work at a speed the was near impossible to keep with, and we were never given an incentive to do it. The supervisor's only cared about the job getting done. The people you worked with were bullies, and would treat you like trash if you could not keep up with them. They over worked you all the time, and when you came to them with a problem they would ignore it.breakspeople, the heat, being treated like a machine"
